A lot of people have been asking for what my BIOS settings were and what exactly I had been changing, in addition to what my CPU-Z screen shots were. All this is pretty standard, but I noticed not many people post BIOS screen shots and since BIOS types and settings tend to vary a lot, even for those running the same chip, I thought it would be a good idea to collect some bios shots that people can use as a reference point.

I've posted my bios settings below that are the real essentials to a stable overclock. I hope that others will contribute their shots as well.

For anyone wondering how I got the bios shots, it was as simple as taking my Canon RebelXT to the screen!

Enjoy!

It might have been covered already. But I couldn't find it. It would be nice if a collection was made and then put as a sticky - would be an awesome reference tool.

As far as the ram - dunno, because I wanted to see how far I could go with the absolute worst ram I had.

I have quite possible the most noobiest question of all time! How do you take a screen shot on windows?
I used my digital camera (Canon RebelXT) to get the BIOS pictures. And just your standard free screenshot utility for the cpuz capture.
hit the print screen key (top right of keyboard) to get a screeny for windows. and then open up paint and do a paste.

Don't forget to save the file as either a .jpg or a .png file. BMP files are just way to large.
