^I may get an SSD later.

So I just ran into a potential complication:

The heatsink (CM Hyper 212+) seems absolutely HUGE. Looking at its dimensions along with the motherboard (MSI P67A-G43), it looks like the heatsink+fan will completely cover one of the RAM slots

Can someone confirm this for me? Will this be a big problem?

I plan to get this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233144 which looks like it has a pretty tall heatsink as well.

Will the CPU's heatsink/fan cause any problems for the SECOND RAM slot if I use the above mentioned RAM?

Nice one MSI.... Get your money back and find something with a little more thought and quality. MSI boards in my opinion are poorly constructed with cheep parts. Your probably going to have issues with capacitors or other parts if your an overclocker (assuming you are because your posting on this site) Im not going to try to tell you my board is better or any of that but MSI is not a board i would buy.

Good Luck with your build!
Everything seems in order for the most part.

Oh? I think it's more of a brand preference TBH. In the time I've been running around the Internet searching for advice, I've come across various factions that are either loyal to one brand or absolutely hate another brand.
Fortunately, I've seen more positive feedback on MSI products than negative

In other news, my graphics card and motherboard arrived today. Haven't ordered any other components yet due to some hangups I'm having about the PSU (cables ;-

Post is here (and yes, it's the "another concern" post, not the main thread topic)

Alright people, I'm back with another concern:
I was reading some customer reviews on the AX850, and it seems like the cables are extremely short. Will this be a problem if I'm going for this case?

And one more question: is this PSU compatible with my motherboard (MSI P67A-G43)

The HX850 has a lot more customer reviews on it and a higher rating, too
What do you guys think? Go for the HX850 or the AX850?

HX850 is listed as modular. Are there different definitions or levels of "modular-ness"?

Sleeving isn't a big concern for me. Don't really need the inside to look good, and cable management is kinda made easy with the CM HAF 932 case that I plan to get

Fully modular you can detach all cables, which is stupid IMO because you'll always need the 24pin and 8 pin power. Just get the HX.

Updated the first post. Due to budget crunchies, I'm bailing out on the CM HAF 932 (there was a guy selling it for $140 on craigslist, but I was too late)

My questions:
-Are there any mid tower cases that can easily fit the Hyper 212 Plus? (currently looking at the Antec 900 Two V3)
-Any RAM suggestions? (4GB would be fine, 8GB preferred)

Keep a lookout on Craigslist. I got my HAF 932 for $70. I got the Craigslist Notifier app (Android) to keep tabs for me and I got lucky.

If waiting on CL isn't for you, sale season should be coming up soon. What price range are you looking at for your case?

I've been told I don't need a full tower for this build. Can you verify this? And if this is true, I'm open to mid tower suggestions. (Currently looking at Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 and CM HAF 922)

Price range - hopefully under $150
