Yeah, I may crossfire in the future as well, but I doubt it since I game at 1280x1024, it would be overkill.

In that case I would reccomend atleast a 700-750 watt unit. for both overclocking and CF use.

Absolutely not.

a HD5770 only uses ~105watts at 1.4v 1Ghz core.

@ 4.2Ghz 1.55v you're looking at ~200watts for a Phenom II x4

That's only 404watts on the 12v rail. A good 500-550watt unit will do

It's 118 Watts stock, but yeah, 500W psu if high quality should work great. I have had my cpu running at 1.55V with my gpu running at 1.175V and my psu is only 21A on the 12V rail
(It was free...)

This. The 5770 is very power efficient..no need for over a 600+watt PSU.

118watts is the TDP. Not the actual power consumption. Two different things.

No you don't need to upgrade PSU

You can and there are alot of good suggestions in this post.

On my OCZ 600 watt (a few years old and not the best of the best psu) I ran:

E6400 @ 3.4 ghz
8 gigs ram
2 x DVDRAM
4 x HD sata 2
2 x 8800 gts 320 (at one time)
3.5 floppy
front memory card reader
tv tuner card

I know they are different, but I'm pretty sure 118 is the power consumption.

Either way, 15W won't make a difference

I forgot, I also have that PSU lying around in my spare parts, would that be a better build quality then the Rosewill would?

No, your Rosewill is a much better unit than that unit.

Cooler Master eXtreme Power series is a stack'o'turds

If I were to eventually get a 2nd 5770, what kind of PSU would I/should I look at? If I'm gonna buy a new PSU I want to future proof a little. Would a good 550W like Corsair be too little?

Yeah, any good 500-550watt PSU would be fine.
