I cant find an faq or thread to turn on a power supply without plugging it on the mobo. what connectors do i have to ground/short to make it power up??

ok question since u jumpered it / short the fourth and fifth connector, is the power supply should work full power? oor just half power? cuz i just noticed my fans on the x-connect running slow compare to when its plugged in to the mobo.

Yeah i heard of that too but i had this for a year now with no problem and so does my other x-connect psu. i tweaked the inside of my psu to check if any of the wires touching any open or metallic conductors.

my question is when u jump the fourth and fifth connector to power up the psu, the psu should run 100% percent right?
