There might be regkeys and things left from the other video cards that are conflicting with the drivers.

ATI's are picky when it comes to this. Always use ATI Driver cleaner/or whatever driver cleaner you perfer before installing new drivers, this will save you from alot of headaches.

I'm out of suggestions... Is your card correctly seated??? You might want to try physically resinstalling it.

Try installing different drivers, go from the reg ATI ones, DL the omega drivers, use the drive clean, install the omegas, try it then, idk.

make sure it isnt overclocked ....

When i oced my 9600 it glitched so bad i couldnt see

if It gets really bad then take a old pci (video) card from any old computer

this will let you see

now for the drivers you may want to try downloading a different driver

there is a site up in the ati section where I posted 9600 overclock or something like that

well anyway get the link the guy sent me and you can put in any model and
it will give you many drivers

I'm not sure if it helped at all but this is what I did .. O and I used flashrom

and the drivers.. look aroudnt the ati section

While your all talking about 9800's... I've got an ATI 9800PRO 128mb, I wanted to get some memory cooling chips, but then I realized that some Samsung chips only overclock to a certain point. Does anyone know how I could tell which revision they are? I looked on the mem chips themselves and theres no markings on there except for some serial numbers.
