Hi guys

Recently Ive come across of one of powermacs which had no hard drive and all other parts are present.

I have small problem.

Have hard drive but windows was on it.
How to convert it to apple standards so I can install OS x on it.

It should support any 3.5 Inch IDE drive, just install one and a copy of mac os x (it should support up to leopard)

Disk Utility
Select drive
Select erase
Format drive and use "Apple Partition Map" under opotions on the bottom
Format to Mac OSX extended
???
Profit.

Edit: PowerMac G5 has IDE for the optical drives. SATA for the normal drives.
