So I'm resleeving a AX860i, my second PSU resleeving ever, and taking a look at the two PCI-E 6+2 x 2 cables:



Only the 6 pin plugs are needed, so normally I'd just not sleeve the two cables for the +2 portion, and tuck them into a hidden corner of the case..however I noticed that both of those cables feed into the same pin:




So I got to wondering...can I just pull that pin and have one less bunch of cables to worry about?

As long as its not needed yes. If one of those wires is needed then check out my Molex Sleeving video how to removed just one wire cleanly from a double crimped wire.
