Alright, here is my problem.

I connected my pc to an friend's TV, With full HD (1920x1080). I changed some of my games resolution in game and now they won't open since they still have that resolution. My screen's resolution is 1440x900. I was wondering if you knew any way to change the resolution of my game outside of the game.

Thanks for your help.

What game is this? We need to know the game and try to locate a settings/config file which stores the user information and preferences

or with normal games in the if theyre say "c:\\blah\\blahblah\\blahgame.exe"

make it like this "c:\\blah\\blahblah\\blahgame.exe" -h 1440 w-900

I think the problem is that they open up, but your monitor simply can't display the 1080p signal. When the green is black right after you open a game, try pressing Alt + Enter to get the game into windowed mode. Then change the resolution from there.

More simple.

Right click game - options - boot options - type in -w 1440 -h 900

Then click ok and start the game.

Tried with both cmd and this way and none worked. What would happen if I tried to repair the game via DVD? would all the files be replaced or will the files stay the same and the one different from default replaced?

The game is crysis 2
