Hey all, recovering from a hard drive crash, and trying to re-import my music into iTunes.
All of my music was stored on a separate drive, thankfully, and it's all in MP3 format, so no issues with security or what not.
My library is fairly small... probably 300 songs, and about 20 audiobooks.
The problem I'm having is that when I tell iTunes to import my library folder, it doesn't read the tags for four or five songs (eh, I can correct those manually)... and it doesn't read the tags for five or six audiobooks!
Half a dozen audiobooks amounts to about 300 tracks with no tag info in iTunes. The files all have tag info when I look at them in windows explorer, or in the right-click properties.
So I guess my question is, how do people here on the OC forums organize their music? Are there any programs out there that I could use to clean my tags to help them work better with iTunes? Etc etc etc, basically, any tips at all on managing a media library, please lay it on me! Must learn!
Thank you!
