Okay, I downloaded Vista RC1, all 2.5 Gbs of it, yet when I unpack the .RAR, all that's in there is a 135kb text file... what am I missing here, besides the .ISO?

Does the .rar file actually say its 2.5GB?

If it does i'd try a different program to open it and see if that works.

Okay, 7Zip shows the text file, and a 2kb .IMG file in a folder labeled [BOOT]... still no .ISO.

I think a .IMG file is pretty much the same as a .ISO, I would try burning into onto a DVD and seeing if I can boot from it.

Or mounting it using a program and see if you can access it.

I quick google gave me this: http://www.free-press-release.com/ne...094539467.html

I've never used that program either tho, LOL.

Its just one .rar file is it? Like, not an array of them?

WHOA. thats not a RAR file. THe file extention is hidden by windows so it pick it up as a rar file. If you go into the folder options and unclick "hide file extentions that are known" the .iso will show up. Or right click on it and hit properties youll see its an iso
