everytime i try and add audio the stupid "send microsoft this problem" window comes up adn i haev to shut down windows movie maker. Anyone know if i can fix this problem?

Try a different program. There are so many better ones out there with many more options. Windows movie maker sux.

Nero is pretty good for what it is--Ulead or Pinnacle often come packed with DVD burners so maybe a friend will have a copy. Movie Mkaer is funny about sound devices and drivers.
