So i bought the foxconn A7DA-S board a month ago and just yesterday bought the phenom 2 965 125watt BE. after installing it on my win 7 64bit rig i noticed it was running slow and checked with cpu-z and the cores where staying at 800mhz, Cool n quit is off so are the 2 other power save features in the bios. i sent a note to foxconn and they gave me an ulisted bios update to fix the problem and even after that update it still is running slow. was wondering if anyone had exp with this board cpu combo?

ok well nm, turns out i needed to go to default settings in bios after updating bios with new 81bf1d27.rom file that foxconn sent me. would like to report that its working great and running at an easy clip of 3.8g with stock voltage and its at 41celsius under load.

So for ANYONE out there trying to figure if their foxconn A7DA-S can run a phenom2 x4 965 the answer is yes ooh yes

So where did you get the 81bf1d27? I can't find it anywhere.

thx!
i had to send an email to foxconn directly asking for it. all i can figure is foxconn wants people buying there am3 socket boards rather then keeping there am2+ boards so they havnt released it on there site. if u ask for it and explaiin the issue, they will link it to you.
