I've tried 3 programs so far, malwarebytes, spyware blaster, and spyware search and destroy and all three make firefox crash when i try to access online radio? Its pretty annoying, what can i do?
Are you sure that it is the security software? Most of what you've listed are actually not real-time shields, just passive scanners. You probably have another issue. When you install those programs does your firefox stop crashing?
^I'm not great at computers so i'm not sure what your asking in the first part of the post. But my computer is my sig rig and its about 3 months old, all i do is visit forums, entertainment and news websites and videos from a couple of different sites, i.e., youtube, streetfire, abc, nbc and so on. So i don't think it should have problems.
I'm getting the same problems on my laptop and i had just reformatted it a couple of months ago also, i don't get any problems without these programs so i'm a bit confused.

Hi
Those programs you have are really good scanners for removing problems on your computer. Maybe one of them removed something and that is why it has stopped working.
If you open Firefox, click Tools tab at the top, click Options, and then Advanced, in the Offline Storage section ... click "Clear Now", this should delete any lingering junk.
I suggest reinstalling Firefox. But you will need to back your Bookmarks up first, and then reinstall them.
Heres how to save your bookmarks so you dont lose them. click Bookmarks tab on browser, click Organise Bookmarks, it will open up a window, click Import and Backup, click Export HTML, and remember where you save the HTML file.
Download Firefox and dont install.
Remove Firefox from your computer via Add/Remove.
Once you have removed Firefox, goto C:\\Program Files\\Mozilla Firefox, and delete it.
Then install the new Firefox onto your computer. and all you do then is go to Bookmarks tab and click the Import and Backup, click Import, and point to where you saved your bookmarks (the HTML file)
Thanks commando i just tried that and it seems to be working perfect. How did you know that a problem like that would occur? I mean why would one of these programs remove a file that would cause a problem to firefox and is this something that happens often?
