Hi, just got my Sapphire X1600pro (AGP) and it won't work. Put it in and got nothing. I tried going into the dell bios but everything was set correctly (128-bit, AGP as default). I also tried updating the bios and that didn't do anything. I know the cards not damaged because I put it into my friends system and it ran just fine. I don't know what to do. Please help.

Its a stock dell, don't quite know.

i cant find the requirements for that exact card but this one, which is pretty much the same as yours calls for a 420 watt psu and i highly doubt that a stock dell psu is 420 watts

That might be the problem since my psu only puts out 250W. It could also be that I don't have AGP 8x but 2x or 4x.

i talked on the phone to a guy at sapphire when i got mine since the one i got didnt have any documentation with it.

you need a minimum 350 watt PSU, and your dell probably has a 250 or 300. plus since its a dell they make it difficult to upgrade, you have to buy a PSU that specifically works on a Dell.

im pretty sure thats your problem. youll need to get a new PSU from a site that sells Dell PSUs.
