So i got Crysis 3 and am having problems. The only way i can get a nice smooth 60FPS is if I run it with everything at low settings and 720p. my 2500k is at 4.3ghz and the 560ti is at 970mhz core and 2130 memory. Is the game just poorly optimized at this point or is the 560ti becoming an old POS card at this point in time? Ive been planning an upgrade but dont have funding for awhile so i have to live with the 560ti for now i just thought better performance would be seen than this. I am also on latest drivers with clean install done with them. Also it seems most of the time the game doesnt use 100% gpu ive only seen up to 80% and lower which makes me think the game needs a patch or nvidia needs a better driver. What are your guys' thoughts?

Firstly, the game is still in Beta, so its possible that it hasn't been optimized completely. Secondly, this game is touted as being something which would push the current gen graphics to its absolute limits. (Thats what the developers say and what i've seen form the gameplay).
You could wait until the game is released. Also, not to forget that you're running it on a 1080p with all settings maxed.

Well, lower than 100% gpu usage is generally indicative of a bottleneck somewhere, however as often as not, that bottleneck is caused by poor/unoptimized coding.

Given your CPU strength it's unlikely to be a CPU BN (unless, again, it's coded poorly, which can 'create' a CPU BN ... such as was the case w/Skyrim when it released), so I'd be looking at other possible points in the chain.

For example, how does the memory usage look?

If you're totally tapping out and exceeding your card's capacity, the end result can 'appear' very much like a bottleneck (i.e. lower than 99% gpu usage) .... cause it IS a type of bottleneck

Take a look at that first, using the OSD of PrecisionX or Afterburner, let us know how it looks, and we'll go from there

just looked at memory use and i think you are right im up at ~900+ which is about all of it maybe i will have to try putting texture quality at low instead of medium. then see if i can boost the graphical features from there. I know they were saying it would stress the current gen but dang lol. The main thing is that at low (crysis 3) i think crysis 2 (on Very High) looked better than this which is what has me like WhatTF.
