Processor and Final Decision

I've narrowed my options down to two, and the only thing keeping me from choosing one is the processor. Would I notice any big difference in my gaming between these three processors:

Would it be worth getting the money for the Sager with these upgrades?

Or can I keep it cheap and stick with the Acer?

In terms of gaming the resolution of both laptops mean the CPU will share some of the grunt work so the i7 would most probably be the best in terms of gaming.

If the resolution was 1650x1080 (or higher) then all the graphic workload is done by the GPU. In this case it's shared between GPU and CPU.

I would personally look for a better graphics card and get a 1650x1080 or higher resolution for a laptop.

Between the two the Acer would be the way to go since if you go 1920x1080 on the Sager it would be a waste of money since the graphic card isn't powerful enough to game at that resolution.
I guess my real question is whether or not the $180 increase is worth it...If it weren't for the operating system issue of adding 90$ to the price I would have chosen the Sager...Would the difference in performance be significant enough to justify the $180? Also I don't plan on spending an extra 65 dollars on the resolution increase to 1920x1080.
I've decided to purchase the Acer, not sure if a better processor is worth $180 more, thanks to everyone for their advice! Any last minute suggestions would be appreciated!

Well Sandybridge introduces a bit more efficiency and the battery life on that quad shows better battery specs. Real use probably less on either. The one you picked has a Mono speaker though but seems like a good value. If it were me, I would go with the Acer Aspire AS5750G-9639 but it really depends on what you want to do, video encoding and the like would appreciate the extra cores and some games can.
Thanks for telling me this was even on the market:

I'll definitely look into this.
