Well I decided to turn a broken PVR / DVD player into a computer, I'm slowly starting it, today I cut out the dvd drive window mod so that you can see the disk spinning, tomorrow I'll be ordering the Atom, so that it remains small and slightly powerful. I really don't know what I'm going to do with it when I'm done, maybe I'll sell it maybe I'll keep it, maybe I'll donate it. I really don't know, if you have any ideas on what to do with it when I'm done or just any general input on how to make it look better all advice is welcome.

Eyecandy for today:
Well I accidently shorted out the dvd players power supply (oops haha). There was alot of sparks and then a funny smell that I quickly got out of my room:

Just painted the panels, a shiny dark green with some dust black over top. And like I promised, the pics are 1024x768.

Well just hardened them and they are quite hardened, I put the case together for saving space and seeing what it'll look like, and well here the pics are of it all hardened. It isn't shiny yet but it'll be shiny later on when I put the final shiny coat on it. Also I'm putting more coats on it so you can't see the writing on the case.

Tomorrow when the next coat of paint is hardened then you'll see the beauty of the case, just the money aspects... err that's why I'm going Atom lol

It's just an HTPC so I don't really care if it's not powerful.

Just put on the shiny coat so now I'll have to wait till I can see how it looks

Wow. That paint came out looking a lot like granite.

I'm not sure if that was the intention or not, but it's a very nice effect.

Ok, guys it's been a long time since I posted, but I have a Q9550 on the way, should be here around Christmas, I have the motherboard, and everything, now all I need is for my Q9550 to get here and I need to find a psu, then I can finnish up the damn thing
