As it is currently:<br />

<br />
<br />
------------------------------------------------------------<br />
hey guys!<br />
<br />
this isn't really modding but more of a regular build log of my techstation.<br />
<br />
so here are two of the TribalOverkill that CD was selling! man! are these reservoirs friggin beautiful!!! the simplicity of it , is what makes it so breath taking at the same time!<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc1.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
here, i started to find a way to attach the rad to the tech station... it was interesting in finding a way to do this as it was getting really late.. by the time i was done, it was like 2 am and i had class the next morning too. <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" /> way too frigging addicting!<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc2.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
here is the bottom attachment for the rad, i could get it screwed into the support post so i stuck it the bottom board and used the L bar as more of a hook to keep the rad in place! antd it works absolutely perfect!<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc3.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
a quick look at the cable management. it actually looks much cleaner than that. i hope.<img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /> but i do still plan on doing some sleeving for it so it looks much cleaner and not as ugly.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc4.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
a front view of the cable management<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc5.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
then i had to make a holder for the reservoir too, so i used some short L brackets to and got it all attached. looks great i must say. i'm really falling in love with techstations.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc6.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
another shot of the L bracket/holder for the rad, forgot i already had one. <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc8.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and here is a shot of the pump.... i still need to raise it off the ground so it has some type of airflow.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc9.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and here is a nice shot of the res! god its soo beautiful, i honestly could just stare it all day. it really is a piece of art! my pictures do it no justice at all.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc10.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
a pic of the cpu block.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc11.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
another pic of the pump with feser green o-ring<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation/tc16.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and a full shot of the whole thing<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc12.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and here are some more shots of the res cause it deserves it and i just had to! <img src="/images/smilies/drool.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Drool" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc13.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc14.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc15.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
i didn't show the actual pics of my building the techstation... well cause it comes with instructions and such and i'm sure everyone else could just do that too so no boring stuff like that. <br />
<br />
i forgot to say that this techstation will be used to test out my little experiments with the enzotech sapphire cpu block with different kinds of midplates to see if it helps with temps and such! thanks for stopping by and come again!<br />
<br />
and for the dye, its one primochill syringe full of feser UV blue and one syringe of feser clear/uv blue. i'll take some night shots when i get a spare set of cathodes.<br />

That looks absolutely awesome. Tech stations are FTW.<br><br>
But you need clamps. I won't get any sleep tonight if you don't tell me you're gonna use clamps or zipties. It gives me nightmares.

alrighty, so i just ordered some parts from p-pcs so i can actually light up this res! now i need to put a switch somewhere so i can turn it on and off. what color LED should i use? UV, blue, green, or even red? i actually have some green leds on the pump right now.. and it looks really nice in the dark.

I dunno, it would make sense to have it blue or purple/UV so that it would match the fluid. or perhaps white to make it stand out more.

so i kept fiddling with my loop and it finally started to bug the crap out of me that i had to use a tool to get to my loop stupid hex L tool with the stock stopper. i decided to do somethin else to make it easier as thats the point of a techstation so you can fiddle and play around with your hardware with ease.<br />
<br />
here is a picture of the hex L tool and stopper.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc17.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
here is a BP female transfer for G1/4" and a BP male to male G1/4" transfer. i'm sure you can tell where i'm going with this.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc18.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
screw the two together and you have half of it done already. then i took a spare BP hand twisting stopper and put that to the other end and screwed that to my fill port.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc19.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and voila! now i have an easy acces toolless fill port. yea, it might not look the greatest but thats not the point. <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc20.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
the next update will have the LED ports installed and from there i'll test out different color LEDs based on the polls and we can do a recount or what not since we'd have actual pictures of how it looks. <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" /> that and i need to figure out where to put a switch... <img src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />

another quick update.<br />
<br />
here is a switch i made for the LEDs that will be going in. the LEDs will have the resistors soldered in line and that will make it easier to use anywhere else too.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc22.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
here is an adapter for other components because i'm make my own LEDs, i'm using the male molex cover with female pins... and usually things come with female molex cover with male pins... and this is what that is for. quite convenient. plus if i ever need to, i can just switch the pin area for 5v instead of 12v <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc21.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
i've already tested it out using CCFLs and it works great. woot! <img src="/images/smilies/cheers.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Cheers" class="inlineimg" /><br />
now i should just sleeve the suckers and i'll be happy.<br />
<br />
edit: and here they are sleeved. looks great compared to the bare wires huh? <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc23.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
i don't have the tools for the hole right now so i'll have wait until next weekend to do it. i should also have some LEDs made by then too.<br />
<br />

gah.. so.. i redid my loop so i could take it apart easier... but it just happens that i get way too much foam now by having the inlet and outlet on the same side.. -__- grr... and it looks better like this too. really bugs me that i can't get out all the air..

so here are the small bubbles/foam i was talking about.. i checked temps on idle and load and it isn't affecting it so i'm not too worried any more.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc24.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
here is how the new loop looks on the cpu block.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc25.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
on the tribaloverkill res<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc26.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
and a full shot of the thing. you can really tell how much easier it is to deal with the block now than compared to before. anything with the loop i can just take apart and pull toward me and everything else is free to do what i need to do.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc27.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
ah yes! i got my slab of brass from mcmasters! and i've already outlined 10 midplates for cutting. the outlines in the interior aren't going to be cut persay but i'll have different designs done with it to see which will have the best performance. once i figure that out. i think i might make some extra plates to sell. we'll see how that goes.<br />
<img src="http://s305.photobucket.com/albums/nn203/nafljhy/techstation//tc28.jpg" border="0" alt="" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" /><br />
<br />
<br />
oh! and i've noticed that UV has suddenly taken the lead. need to buy some UV LEDs now so i can test how it will look.<br />
<br />
edit: and because i don't want gir having nightmares, i went back and ziptied the new tubing.. (i was going to just leave it cause its 7/16" ID on 1/2"barbs.. <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" />, but i already have the others ziptied... might as well.)<br />
