Can you link to the model of Dominators you have? You might be able to remove the fins on top of the modules.

if the ram heatsinks are flat then it should be ok.

Did you buy the am2/am3 mounting brackets too? The mega doesn't come with them.

If the distance between your cpu and dimms is the same as mine it will fit no matter how high the heat spreaders go on your ram.

edit: if your heat spreaders go to the each side of the sticks then you have about a half inch of room to play with... this again applies only if the distance between your dimms and cpu socket is the same as mine.

edit2: Dang I just saw this is for an amd build... this will probably make it more unlikely that the distance is the same.

Your Dominators seem to be the same as mine; you can remove the fins with a 1/32" hex key/screw and you can fit what you want there.

I'm going to piggyback on this thread instead of starting a new one.

Will the fan clips work on 38mm thick fans?

If you purchase them... the two "sets" that come wit it can only fit (2)120x25
however the part is only 2 bucks for the 38mm
