My old 4870X2 Scored 7.3.

What is your cpu clocked at? Mine at stock (3.2) scored a 7.5, and at 3.86 it got a 7.6. My SSD also got 7.6 all on it's own (you make me want to RAID, but I like my TRIM).

My 285's nailed 7.9 of course.

4GHz.

From what I seen, there is a huge gap between 7.5 and 7.9. I don't think we'll see a 24/7 "7.9" CPU scores until i9s.

It's a driver problem. I've had 6.0 as my rating when I had a 4850x2 since 9.6 drivers.
