I have a ATI 7000 currently installed, I'm getting a new 9600. What is the proper way to install a new card?
1. Do I install the new card, then remove old drivers, then add new drivers?
2. Or, do I remove old drivers with 7000 in and then insert new Vid card then install new drivers.
Hope this makes sense.
Also do i just use "Add/Remove programs" to do this?

Uninstall the current drivers before putting in the new card. It would be best to get a driver cleaner (I don't have one though
) and completely clean everything old out. Then install the new card, but if you want to go all out extreme, reinstall Windows
ATi Driver installs can be irritating. You need to go to device manager (Right click my Computer, then properties, then hardware tab, then device manager) and uninstall the device from there, then reboot with the new card and pop the CD with the new Drivers in
