Grab the UD3P version of the P45 board you have. It's a really killer combo paired up with your Q6600. Even if it won't overclock far because of your VID, at least you'll have a really cheap and decent chip, and for the fact that they're going to be discontinued will make them hard to find in the future.

good build. i second the idea of a EP45 UD3P, and that of a Q9550 if you can afford it. the new Q6600's are not that great at OCing.
