The Cell is a completely new type of processor, you cant make a comparison. It will be excellant in servers, which BTW IBM is pairing from what I rememember 16,000 Cell and 16,000 Opteron's together in hopes of creating the fastest supercomputer (as others are trying to take IBM's title away). Its good at what its meant for and has to be programmed well, cant just stick the first working linux hack on there and expect it to be god.
