I have got an official Sony PS3 Controller (its the same one that came with my PS3) and for some reason my finger prints are melting into the controller

. Its not a bad thing it still works fine, and I want to know if this has happened to anyone else. I looked on google and I couldn't find anything and also its definitely melted in because I can't rub them off and there is a texture to it. I can't get a photo of it either because I don't have a good enough camera lol

Maybe you should play less, they arent designed to take friction heat in ecces of 300 celcius.

Try rubbing alcohol, I've seen really hard to wipe off "fingerprints" when people play without washing their hands first. Which is why I don't let people use my GP2x at lunch anymore...

Its most likely your sweat.. Sweat is acidic and will eat through some plastics... This might not be your case but if your hands sweat when you game try wiping them off between rounds? You could try buying some PS3 controller sleeves.

They have them in see through white and other colors too. I find the controller much more comfortable with them on.

Well my sweat has probably got got acidic since I changed my diet because this stuff hasn't happened before. Oh well

its not a problem for me I don't really care about it I was just wondering if this was happening to other people as well.
