This is pretty sad, and a way to rip people off. There are people on ebay, selling email account, that have PS3 in the title. Like one was <a href="mailto:p[email protected]">[email protected]</a>. Why would people bid on just an email account.<br>
Here one for example:<br><a href="http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?campid=5337413396&toolid=10001&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2FRARE-PS3-Email-Playstation3-sonys-Gmail-com_W0QQitemZ230036116211QQihZ013QQcategoryZ102333QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-PS3-Email-P...QQcmdZViewItem</a><br><br>
I don't understand some, or alot of people in this world.

it probably someone who saw it, and thinks it an actual ps3 or something, cuz the current winner has no feedback or anything, which means he is new, well on that account at least.

Read a report that ebay is gonna be taking auctions like that off, and other that are people selling their "pre-order", because Ebay says you can't actually sell something that you don't own. Even if you have a preorder you do not actually own the PS3 so therefore you can't actually sell. Glad to hear also, people like that should be put in jail or something. Hate people like that.

A while ago when the xbox 360 was out, someone made a bid called "xbox 360, look quick!" and people bid at the alst second because it had a pick of the 360 and box. Then i scrolled down and the guy wrote "This is not an xbox 360, you are bidding on the box of an xbox 360. Actually, its not even the original box, its a normal box that i wrote xbox 360 on. Happy bidding!"<br>
...Anyways, the winning bid was over $1,500. I thought it was retarted, because it was probably some innocent guy trying to buy a 360 for his kid or something.

Before the Internet was so ubiquitious some individuals went out and bought up all the ".com" names they could. Then when the internet sites became mainstream these individuals had the rights to particular names. for example, An individual purchases the name "homedepot.com". Then they wait or solicit Home Depot for a sale of this name to them. It is worth millions to HD as the revenue generated by the webiste will (and is) astronomical.<br><br>
Is that what these clowns are doing?
