In my new rig, I got a Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1000w PSU.

Now after the rig is built is when I first notice a little warning sticker on my PSU. It says that it needs its own dedicated power outlet on its very own 15amp breaker...

Do I really need to get my electrician in to redo my wiring to use this??

when the psu is at peak load (close to 1000w) it may very well reach that 15 amp limit, they suggest a dedicated power outlet and 15 amp breaker so that your house doesn't catch on fire because of the wires having too much current through them. i would at least plug it in to its own outlet if possible, and run as little in that room or whatever is connected to that circuit as you can.

What's in the new system? Very few computers will actually use 1000w at full load, but I agree with wufuhimself that you should plug it into it's own outlet if possible.
