Hi I just saved a psu fan from my 1999 pc. I was wondering if it is possible to use it has a case fan, its a 80mm 12v, 0.19A with red and black wire. No connectors at the end of both wires. How can I make the fan run again on my newer PC? I'm quite noob that's why I came here to ask great community!!!

Well welcome.

I would just recommend that you buy a 4 dollar 80mm fan

You would need some other supplies to do it, and that fan probably isn't very good.

Just do that ^ Get a molex or 3 pin connector and just match colors.

You could attach the two wires to a 4 pin molex connector. Attach the red fan wire to the yellow molex connector wire and the black fan wire to one of the black molex wires. Now your fan is running again.

And, yes, it'll work as a case fan. I have a Delta fan out of a PSU that's much older than yours and it works great as an exhaust fan for the PCI slots.
