Hello, I registered to ask a question and get your opinion, but I will outline my pc first
I built it in november of 2007.
Intel Q6600 2.4 quad core overclocked to 3.37
ASUS p5k3 deluxe wifi mobo
evga nvidia 9600 gt 675 mhz
2gb corsair ddr3-1333 oc'ed to 1500 (mobo does not work good with 2x2gb, oc'ed or not)
ABS tagan itz 700w psu
2 dvd burners
kreon drive for xbox games
500 gb sata seagate
big a** cpuheatsink (for got the brand and model)
apevia x cruiser case
basically the front (inside the case) fan of the psu is no longer spinning, but the rear one is, system runs fine, voltages are as follows:
1.34 vcore
3.18 for the 3.3
4.9 for the 5v
12.04 for the 12v
I noticed this going through the system replacing some old case fans as the system has been running a little hotter the past 6-8 months (cpu idling at 46-48instead of 40).
I need opinions as to whether I should replace the psu now or let it run its course until the other fan goes, and would this cause the temp increase. The psu is cool to the touch while the pc is on and i have 2 80mm fans in the front, 1 up top, and a 120 on the back, with another 120 on top of the cpu heatsink.
thx in advance
