Alright guys, I have a 550W Viotech PSU With no sata/PCI-E connectors or anything. << SO I'm looking to replace it with something but I'm confused on a few things.. hoping you can help me out.
I'm running my Sig Rig.... and I want something that can dish out the power for it since I play a lot of games and whatnot. I want something reliable, fluent, and not very expensive.
The question is... I've seen a lot of high end PSU's running at 450W - 500W with SLI capability. I Want the PCI-E connector as well as the Sata Connectors.. however I don't know what a good wattage would be. I don't want to go all extreme and pay $100's for a 1000W PSU.. just something that will get the job done and that I can rely on.
Soooo.. would dropping from a 550W be a good idea?... or should I go bigger? Help me out? o.o
