i was planning on gettinga PSU but dont know how much i need to get dont want to waste too much money.

xp2600m
DFI ultra nf 2
2x256 ram (dont know which one yet)

if u on a budget look for a brand called cheiftec - they are just rebadged antecs but think they only go to sumfin like 300~360 watts

I am still new to the OC world and was suprised at how big a difference a PSU can make. The general feeling around here is that the OCZ ModStream 520W is a great choice.

However, Ultra X-Connect is a bit cheaper and good as well.

Scratch my ideas... I can vouch for the chieftecs too. They are the company that Alienware uses. I know AW isn't the "be all - end all" company, but it was a solid PSU.

No Newegg doesn't carry Chieftec, but you can find it through other online computer stores, most will be out of the country as the Chieftec psu's aren't part of the USA Chieftec lineup.
