Howdy yal i have a strange ?. I just recently purchased a PC Power and Cooling PSU, a Gigabyte Motherborad, and a 4850x2. The problem im having is a loud squeal from my PSU when its under load or at strange times. Its a high pitched sound and ITS NOT THE FAN. It does it the most when its under a heavy graphic load such as loading screens in 3dmark benchmark. Any help would be great. Sorry bout caps but thats what everyone says it is
Thank you for your time.

Are you sure it's from the power supply? That's a pretty common thing for the video cards capacitors to do.
Are you sure it's the PS and not the GPU? If so RMA it, Actually alot of cheap PS's will have silicoln ontop of the caps to stop the vibration. If you can't rma it you can rplace the caps or silicoln around the caps so they don't vibrate.
Ty for quick responses. Im sure its the PSU, you can put your ear up to it and hear it clearly. I have googled this and there are a few others that have the same problem, even after rma'n all the new stuff they got. Would changing some of the power cables around maybe help? I guess i can just try this stuff and see, otherwise i might just have to rma it and see if that will help. Ty again for your help.

I doubt it. But you can try mixing around the cabling, could be too much load on something but probably best to just RMA it before something dies on you.

I had 2 Silencer 750's that did it, the 2nd replacement was doa so I ended up getting a refund.
Try a different wall outlet, try a different cable, RMA it, or live with it.
...And then zang! Sounds like you has bad caps.
Ya thats the PSU i have the PC power and cooling 750 Quad. I am gonna RMA it from Newegg and hopefully the new one is better. Thanks alot for the help everyone.
