I got a score 10494 at my native 1920x1200 res with AA turned off. To bad they don't have a central results website with standard settings so it would be easier and a lot more reliable to compare scores with people like 3dmark

Wow. I got 11785 as score. The problem is that changing the AA settings had absolutely no impact on the performance. Which leads me to believe that RE6 will be a horribly badly optimized game. Especially considering it's Directx 9. I mean I dropped down to 35 fps. Not even Crysis 3 with DX11, that looks 1 million times better, drops down to 35 fps.

I think you might be right, it's probably badly optimized game since there's no DX10/11 at all!

Well, it not having DirectX 11 isn't necessarily bad optimization. It might just be that the engine doesn't support DX11 since it was also aimed for consoles.

It's just that, considering it's DirectX 9 only, there's no reason it should run this crap. Minimum of 35 fps when I don't even get that low in Crysis 3 with everything maxed out? And the worst part is that having no AA at all, doesn't improve the performance.

That's what I noticed as well, no AA gives me same FPS as with AA enabled...my guess is another CRAPCOM port! At the end of a 1st bench my FPS fall from 120+ to 40-50 FPS! There has to be something wrong there?

Mine drops to 35 fps at the end of the 1st phase. Doesn't make sense since I got a higher overall score than you xD

What a fail bench.

We'll see...also how hard is it for Capcom to make a true RE game? I mean last good RE game was RE4, and that wasn't scary at all. Don't they read forums, listen to fans, or even see that they haven't sold that many copies of RE6?

Best case scenario, it's only the bench that's this horribly optimized. Usually it's the other way around though. Usually benches perform better than the actual game. I just hope I'm wrong.
Wouldn't worry about it. It's been mentioned by people who have played the console version and there is NEVER anywhere the amount of zombies or anything that would tax a system like the benchmark does.

Got the highest score out of anyone here so far... but I guess it's not scaling right with my set up. Should be double most of what you guys are getting.

The guys talking about AA not affecting anything... makes sense, because it's FXAA. Which should only make a difference of 1-5 fps. But yea! It's pretty badly optimized, in the scene with all the zombies, I dip all the way down to like low 30s also.

You know that "dip" is likely planned. Check out the scene it happens in. That scene is pushing the edge with a LOT of zombie activity going on, that should be a hard push. It is likely there to set information such as the lower parameters of the test.
