Question about temps. Now that I have taken my air heatsink off my PWMIC temp. has gone up through the roof. It increased like 20*C easy. The highest I have seen it get is 57*C so far, and that's with a fan on the side panel (which I have to take off soon because I can barely close my case now with all the tubes in it) and with cold winter winds; I hate to think how hot it will get once summer hits. The question is, how high can the PWM temp. on DFI boards go? I have searched the DFI forums but they all give different answers; some say 100*C, others 65*C.

The PWNIC area will be physically safe at about 80C. However, you don't want to be anywhere near there because you'll be very unstable and might BSOD once in a while. Buy some heatsinks like these and stick them onto any mosfets you see.
