I got a q6600 2.4ghz. havent overclocked it at all. and im about to get a second 9800gtx+ to get SLI into my system. Will my processor be bottlenecking the 2 gpus? If so, what should I OC my q6600 to.

I doubt it would bottleneck them. If it's an older q6600, they can be pushed to 3.0ghz very easily. What cooler do you have?
i think it will bottleneck. you should look into getting it to 3.2ghz
These will be bottlenecked beyond 4ghz in 3Dmark06, (there was an article about it, 9800gtx+ in sli are equal to a GTX 280 and the comparison there as such will stand) but in games 3.2ghz should be fine. I haven't known a Q6600 unable to get there

I'd push the cpu to 3.2-3.4ghz once you get the zalman.

Each motherboard handles overvolting and overclocking differently.
it all depends on resolution and image quality settings
