The "cpu temp" is the ambient temperature of the cpu underneath the IHS. The four core temps are the actual temperatures from inside the cores. What are your room temperatures at?

First off I would like to know why Everest Ultimate reports my CPU's Cores as such: Core #1: 54C Core #2 56C, Core #3 58C and Core #4 as 51C. But also says that my CPU Temp is 25C? If the "CPU Temp" is an average, then something isn't right.
Can anyone help me out with this?
