It should be in your bios where you change the overclock settings.

Dig deeper in the BIOS. Don't limit yourself to just one or 2 areas.

So disable it. What I should have said was "disable anything that has C1E in the name".

The first step in solving any problem is communication, and good communication requires good grammar.

Disable C1E.

So what are you saying? Who didn't use good grammar? And why are you repeating what I said as though it wasn't good enough?

I think I know what TheFlyingWallaby is referring to now: it looks like you're typing these messages with your phone.

Anyway, I'm really glad that this is sorted!!

OP hasn't been using good grammar. The ToS requires the use of good communication, and I myself are quite the proponent of professionalism.

Your post was certainly "good enough", I was simply confirming it. People generally appreciate when someone agrees with them, and the agreement implies that the one who is agreeing approves of their methods. There is no need to get combative.

C1E and Speedstep are easy things to overlook, and I'm happy that everything is now working.

Yeah, well what if he's using his cell phone? I mean, don't you think that this is the case considering the fact that he was looking at his BIOS while posting in this thread?

The reason I responded that way is because you were nit-picking somebody's English when he is perfectly easy to understand, considering that he's probably using his cell phone to communicate with us while he's looking at his BIOS.

So, it made wonder just who you think you are. It looks like you're a Moderator Wannabe.

TheFlyingWallaby: see? This is a good lesson. You should have just given him the benefit of the doubt.

Brualness: you're right that there's no apology to be made except the one that TheFlyingWallaby should give to you.
