Hello! I'm new to overclocking and for this site too
My computer:
Intel Core 2 Q9550
Asus GTX 560 Ti CU II <-- just bought
MSI P45 Neo3 MS-7514 Ver 1.0 (need for BIOS update? And if yes wich one is correct one?)
4x Trancsend 2GB 800MHz DDR2
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
At first I googled what and how everyone else had overclocked their Q9550 and found that 400MHz x 8,5 (~3,4GHz) would be pretty nice. Well cause I'm noob I tried to first raise FSB by 10MHz at time with letting everything else be auto (Memory at 1:1 so 400MHz would be 800MHz).
350MHz working just fine, but allready at 360MHz my system crashes after getting into Windows.
After few tries and wonderin about voltages I got back to google for more information and found few pictures where people had set voltages and DRAM clocks. So I went from the place there was no fence and tried to copy as well as possible, but with that my system didnt boot anymore.
After few more tries with different voltages and settings I got my system to boot and crash on Windows.
Now I have no clue what to do to get it working at 400MHz x8,5 (3,4GHz) so I ended up here asking for pros to help me
Pictures of my BIOS when it crashes on windows:
Only reason why it starts on these is that Multi-step OC Booster so it rises rest of clock on Windows. DRAM clocks goes over my mind and just copyed those settings
So allmighty OC Gods help this newbie!
