I've been diligently searching for a MONITOR.INF file for the QNIX 27" monitor with no luck. Just wondering if anyone out there has had any luck with that. I'm going to get in touch with the outfit that I bought the monitor from then may try the manufacturer in Korea.

Yes I did. I must be missing something as I don't see any reference to a MONITOR.INF file.

I have it, and will post it in a few min, but the issue is, even in test mode I can't seem to get them to install.
even in test mode you need some sort of digital signature.

it's something about overclocking I think, it's said to install them if you get the chance.

EDIT :

It completes the setup. Even the cheapest monitors have a MONITOR.INF on their website - problem is, I don 't think QNIX has a web site - might be wrong about that.

they do, but they do not have anything on there,

I posted the INF that is out there, both for the QNIX/X-Star and catleap (interchangeable) just need someone to test sign them

Been trying to figure out why Windows 8 won't let me install this driver even when I go through the startup settings and disable driver signature verification and finally I got it. I found a clue when someone suggested on another forum some codes for disabling driver signatures using the command prompt: when I tried it it mentioned the option being against secure boot policy.

So if you are having this problem and cant install the Qnix driver (which will allow your custom refresh rates to show up in fullscreen games)--
All you need to do is put the boot mode to Compatibility and turn off secure boot. THEN you can get windows to listen when you tell it to stop with the driver verification signature. If I'm not mistaken, people have to pay to have their drivers verified... thus why microsoft really doesn't want people installing unverified drivers.
