Thanks, I saw those too. I've been to about every online retailer but I think the Loon's are the best bet. Those Scythe fans are 12mm thick and I doubt they do much. I don't need these to do a whole lot but, just exhaust a little hot air out of the roof of my case where I have just less than 25mm of space between the roof and the top of the rad.

For top exhaust, those are the last fans I would use.... they fail miserably pushing air up. What other fans do you have as exhaust? Have you looked at other ways to get a standard 120 fan to fit?

Unless I return two of my RX360 rads for something thinner (even 54mm) will probably work. I've already screwed the rads in to see what the spacing was like up there so frozen may not even take them back. I'm using a caselabs M8 and the rads are separated from the rest of the case in the extended roof with AP-15s pushing air out through the rads then the roof.

I don't really need the rads in push/pull for cooling but thought it would be nice to have a couple quiet fans up on top just to help blow air out. 25mm fans are literally 3mm or so too wide. Heck, even with no fans up there the hot air will just rise out the top but these would help expedite exhaust a bit-the grill up there is basically like having an open air roof so its not like they have to push air that hard to exhaust. I may not even get them but they are in the cart atm.

that miiight make sens...

Well, I can understand your dilemma... is there any way to flip the fans on your rad pushing down instead of up or, what about extending (by 3mm) the rad mount? I see you posted in the Case Labs forum... did anyone help you?

NM: I just read your build thread... you could always sell them and get something smaller. Absolutely Gorgeous Case you have there!

I can put the rad inside the case and have just fans on top but the whole point of the extended roof was to have the rads outside to gain some more room inside and to separate them from the inside of the case--also to keep the airflow up and out on each side of the case so no hot air is brought inside. But that's about the only realistic option.

I have three 360s with low fpi for a cpu and two 6970s so I doubt I rly need all those rads in p/p. I could put the third rad in p/p but I need to measure that, it will make cable management more complicated, etc. If the fans really "blow" then they probably won't make a difference anyway, in which case, I won't even waste my time with them. I'm still trying to plan the loop out with rad placement etc; plans changed when I got the case due to space issues like this, but it's all part of the fun^^

I haven't pulled the trigger on those fans yet so I can think about it some more cause I'm in no rush.

It would be a sin to put those crappy fans in that case. I would find another solution(s) if at all possible.

I'm no sinner^^

But there will be AP-15s on each rad pushing with mini shrouds for sure, but if someone can find me a better 20mm fan sweet...at this point I doubt they exist....Yate Loon does make a 2200 rpm 120 x20 fan that pushes 76cfm at 35db though (ball bearings and not sleeve)

Mb I'll go with those and do p/p on the third rad with proper fans. I gotta take the case out and put some more fans on #3 and see what I'm workin' with.
