Hey guys, I was just wondering what is the best ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB Fan Replacement and Heat Sink? I got one for free from a buddy of mine and the fan feels tight, when it is on and working on my PC it makes noise like the blade of the fan are hitting the metal place of the heat sink. You also have to push start the fan. Any help would be appreciated it.

Can you chip away at the piece of metal it's hitting? I recommend that you get some metal sandpaper and work on the metal that it's hitting.. As for the best, I think the zalman vf700-cu is the best in my opinion.

I think I can, it stop making noise from time to time. I just flashed my 9800 Pro to 9800XT. So, cool but will check that metal piece in a sec and make sure that it dosen't make to much noise. hehe

I have the zalman zm80C-HP with the optional fan and this thing rocks!!

Yeah, the Zalman GPU coolers are the best there are. I'm thinking of getting one eventually for my system, as my 6600LE runs a little hot...
