dont know if this is in the correct place but is about fans and a bit about wiring

i was just wanting to know how many fans i can run off one molex connector at the min i have one case fan running off of each power supply for my HDD and my DVD but have 2 case fans still needing power can i just add one extra to what i already have which means it will have a dvd and 2 case fans and a HDD and 2 case fans or will that hurt something

You will be able to run the additional fans without causing introducing any danger to your system. The fans may not spin at full rpm, but you will want to test them to see what the results are.

Another option would be to run the fans off of the motherboard headers, but you may need to get adapters for a molex-to-3-pin connection.

well my front 2 i bought seperatly have both a 4 pin and 3 pin connector and i originaly tried running them off the mobo but they did not work it would let me monitor the rpm when they were on the mobo but would not power them did i do something wrong you think?
syrillian is rather correct.... fans usually dont require a lot of juice so you can usually just run them in series with other things, i have all my fans on seperate connectors but thats because i have WAY too many molex connectors lol (who am i kidding? too many? more like enough) +rep for not being dumb (i hate when people answer questions they really dont know the answers to) oh and for those awesome cases

ps op, check your bios, and idk if perhaps your using an oc utility but i know when i used AOD and i changed the settings in the AOD for my fan control it would just shut a fan off... i never resolved the issue and just stopped using it to control my fans... u try running them off molex? do they run? other wise it might be the fan

You may need to ensure that the wiring is correct.

I seem to recall having to ensure that the wires were in this order on a build wherein the fans did not work on the mobo headers:

You may also need to check the BIOS to ensure any fan settings (if applicable) are enabled or set correctly.

yes they all work fine when off the molex and dont use any oc utility. i will check the BIOS for what you said and will also check the wiring im striping it all down at the weekend for som new TIM and cable managment anyway so will hopefully get it all sorted thanks for the help guys +rep
i got a 200 for my mom and i have a 1200 lol i picked the 200 instead of the 300 for my mom because it was a little cheaper and shes not ever going to be doing anything to it... they are almost the same except for the front bezel and back on topic...
