hi guys,

I just did a little overclocking and i was confused by my cpu's load temps. I did a mild overclock of about 100 Mhz and the load temps i got from running two X-stress programs were 55 and 54 celcius for 10 minutes.

but when i used TAT for 100% cpu load, my cpu tempurature shot up dramatically. The load temperatures were 74 and 70 celcius in just 1 minute.

My question is which load temp is accurate? Both of the programs showed 100% CPU usage but the load temperatures were very different.

Btw, my idle temperatures are 43 and 41 celcius.

What's your vcore at? Also have you downloaded speedfan, or everest? They are semi-accurate. And you do have stock cooling so that's a major factor, although it still seems high.

Get speedfan and see what it says when your at full load, and maybe decrease your vcore, you should be able to get that oc with a lower vcore(if i'm wrong someone tell me now). Also you may want to think about aftermarket cooling(the BT is a nice choice, although i'm bias
