hello, as am about to get my q9950 im ma be selling my current processor. is tehre any safe way to package it if i wer to sell it? i dont ahve any of the Original packaging as this was a friends old proc that he left laying around.
Also, you could call Intel help and ask.. but bubble wrap with an esd inside and the chip inside that should do it. Also warn buyers about the esd, ie, not to handle without grounding...
My buddy bought a CPU off of ebay and all the seller did was wrap tape all around the chip and wrap bubble wrap around it. Not suggesting you do the same but im just saying CPU's aren't as fragile as most think.
