question about super cheap hsf

im building my friend a budget rig with a stock E6600. I have laying around a stock e5200 hsf(which i would prefer to just keep), but that is smaller than the hsf that came STOCK with the e6600 so im hesitant to use it. I could give him my q6600 hsf but i really want to keep it in case i ever sell my q6600 so i can sell it complete. How would this hsf stack up compared to the stock q/e6600 cooler?

I could get any hsf in the ~$10 range, i really dont want to spend more, as its on a tight budget and for stock speeds.

That looks just like a quad stock cooler with a little bigger fan so it should work. If I were you though I would just give him the q6600 HSF. When you go to sell your quad you may find that not many people would want to pay way more in shipping just to get a stock HSF when you could just toss the CPU in a bubble wrap envelope.
well i want to be safe, i know i would have payed for the stock cooler when i bought my used e6600 on here. The only thing im thinking is, the q6600 hsf has a copper base and i dont see one on that. So do you think it will cool as well?
Here it is shown cooling an overclocked e6750 so for stock it should be fine.

I would get an ICEQ and not bother with upgrading the cooling solution for a while
