I recently just purchased a Rasa 750 kit and I noticed that some people say to test your loop for 8-12 hours before use.

1. Does the testing happen while its inside the computer?
2. Do you build it outside the computer and then test?
3. And if you do it outside the computer, do you put it in the computer assembled or do you disassemble it and then re-assemble in the case?

Any way you choose to do it - you want to disconnect every piece of electronic equipment except the pumps and then jump your PSU.

Suggested is that you test your loop outside the computer and then run a leak test after everything is installed within the case...

If you are comfortable with your tubing and clamping job and feel you may not leak then skip to straight leak testing inside rig with all electronics unplugged- but that is risky as if there is a leak you will need to add time to dry out components

Many people will do a quick test outside of the computer in order to test for any major leaks, broken parts, or anything else that would destroy your computer in a heartbeat (IE Res being cracked and leaking a gallon of water all over your motherboard).

After that some people choose to run it outside of their computer for 24 hours just to be safe and then they will put it in their computer. I would definitely recommend taking it apart and putting it back together just as I don't see how it would even be possible to do it otherwise unless you want to go to the hassle of doing that.

You can skip doing it outside of the computer if you want, but you are taking more chances that way. As long as you are careful the chances of a leak are extremely low so just go with whatever makes you comfortable.

Well I measured the tubes to be the right size, maybe a little longer and I can cut them if need be. But ya all I would need to do is slide the Res/Pump in the drive bay from the inside. Eeer I forgot to mention I have a Rasa 750 kit, so the pump and res are in the same box.
