question dual channel

my current situation has 4 dimm in ds3

i have 2 gb in two stick in dual channel

1)if i add a third stick ... i will lose my dual channel?
2) the brand is important to keep with me the dual channel ?

you should match your ram, and AMD processors like only 2 sticks. If you have single sided ram you can use 4 without issue usually.
yeh you will loose your dual channel mode, just stick with 2gb or if you defiantely want more ram look at a 2x2gb set
For dual channel you will need another pair of matched ram, they dont have to be like the first 2x2GB pair, it can be 2x512, 2x1Gb etc... Speed and timming wise it,s not important but remember all the sticks can only go as fast as the slowest stick in the lot.
