Question for those of you who ordered the Intel X25 OEM drives from newegg.

I was wondering if you all received the G2C1 model or the G201 model. I personally got the G201 model and now just put in a RMA for the item to try to get the G2C1. I know it is not a big deal but I just like having my new drives match for my own reasons and the fact that the G201 one is actually cheaper than the other.

Not sure if others got the same one as me, or what exactly happened.

Drives are the same. Difference is that one should come with the 2.5mm plastic spacer, while the other doesn't.

The R5 is the retail which includes the space and 3.5" mounting bracket.

I saw a post on here about someone saying they got it shipped from the RMA dept. Well I too had mine shipped form there. I just opened the package and there was a foil sticker on there which had not been broken. Upon opening it and looking at the actual drive it totally looks like someone has used this the bottom looks like its been cleaned and also there are scratches on the bottom!!! I dunno this seems really shady to me I'm going for a RMA.
To be more detailed, I already own one of the G2R5 drives so I know the differences. The fact is that I was wondering if other who ordered the OEM model from Newegg which is labeled as G2XXX go either the C1 or the 01.

I already started my RMA process and made sure that if I order again that I get what I wanted which is the C1 or I may just get a refund all together.

While it is a small problem all in all, it is the principle of the matter. I was just wondering if I was the only one.

I also believe the RMA Dept is simply the Tennesee factory? I got both my 5870 and ssd from there as well as my corsair 850hx a while back.
I got two G2C1 ordered a week or two apart a few months back

Edit: sorry doesn't help as far as the G2XXX situation

Edit: G201 says 7mm height vs 9.5mm for G2C1, just different enclosure?

The drives are the same, but the the 9.5mm version comes with a 2.5mm plastic spacer screwed onto the drive. It's supposed to help with vibration (from laptops I'm assuming). The GR5 is the same drive but comes with the spacer AND a 3.5" mounting bracket adapter.
