I have two computers I would like to try overclocking (mind, i've never attempted this) I've read many tutorials and watched videos but it seems as if everyone has different techniques and also different settings so I have been nervous to test any of the methods and figured i'd come to the professionals, also if I am posting in the wrong section I sincerely apology and if someone may direct me where the post should have been listed under

Well I'd prefer to test over-clocking on my older computer first then the new one I built (Somewhat nervous since i've never tried this)
Also don't mind very in depth detailed explanations.. I'd rather take the time and do everything right then continuously fail, but understand trail & error may occur.. with that being said here are my system specs for my older pc

Motherboard: Biostar 8100 M2+ TE
Chipset: Nvidia 8100/Nforce 720a
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 7750 Dual-Core Processor Black Edition
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 RX-550
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 7950 GX2
Processor Heatsink: Thermaltake Frio Advanced (Made to overclock)
Ram: 2X Kingston 2GB DDR2 (4Gbs)

If anything else needs to be listed, please let me know and I will post it as soon as possible
