Question regarding AC Xtreme 9800 and 8800gt

Hey guys, having a bad day here, maybe u boys can help me.

I went to grab a cooler for my Galaxy 8800GT. Website said it was in stock, it wasn't. I was livid. Went a bit nuts, probably shouldnt have but I was sick of this crap they do it all the time. Heh.

Anyways, I was going for an AC Twin Turbo. They only had an AC Xtreme 9800 in stock. I am told it fits 9800 gt's. I am unsure on this, but if it will fit them it should fit my card.

Does anyone know if this thing fits 9800/8800 GT's? I want to get something asap, 1.3v is WAYY too much for the crap stock cooler on this thing.

if it's a reference 9800gt cooler (Which it porbably is) then it will fit the 8800gt, they have the same mounting holes and the same chip

yes 1.3v is a lot for a stock cooler to handle unless you have an immaculate thermal paste, a crazy stock heatsink with lots of heatpipes and some modding done to the stock cooler
