I don't really get how PAT work. When I get the full benefit from PAT? Some said the performance increase only when FSB is 200Mhz. What if I have a CPU with bus 533 (This one), do I get the benefit which PAT gives me? Currently I'm running at [email protected], FSB 178Mhz, RAM running at 1:1 (512MB Kingston PC3200).

ntel's Performance Acceleration Technology (PAT), it's only supported by the 875X chipset, your MoBo does not have that chipset so you have no PAT.

Actually, in some cases PAT was integrated in the 865P but only in few cases and I think only in ASUS's boards because it was through the BIOS and as usual ASUS boards with Intel core logics are always ahead of the game above everyone else, even Intel's own.
